Topic: Public Safety in Emergency Conditions
This will be an interesting meeting about public safety in emergency conditions. The information shared will be of benefit to both security and private detective professionals. This meeting is intended to be the first in a series of meetings that will provide training and education while building a bridge between the Maryland Emergency Management Agency and MISA members. Speaker: John Reginaldi
Bio:
John Reginaldi is the Regional Administrator, National Capital Region for the Maryland Emergency Management Agency. His background encompasses an extensive physical security, safety, and investigative history with 30 years experience in public safety, private security industry, security and safety training/education and investigations. He is also experienced in Emergency Planning and COOP planning. John is a retired Baltimore County Police Detective, immediate Past President of the Maryland Crime Prevention Association and of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS). He has conducted over 2000 comprehensive security and safety vulnerability assessments throughout the U.S. He served as an adjunct instructor for the Mid-Atlantic Regional Community Policing Institute, which falls under the auspices of the Johns Hopkins University Continuing Studies Program. He also has worked within the private security industry and the Intelligence Community at the National Security Agency (NSA) and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA).
